What is Urban Pursuit?

Urban Pursuit (started August 2022) is based in Suffolk County on Long Island (New York). My name is Dave (17 years of archery experience for white tail deer) and I am the creator and Lead Hunter. I am the only hunter and person a home owner will be dealing with. This is not the start of a hunting “club” or group. This is the chance for us to work exclusively together to help with whatever the issue is the deer are causing. We want to utilize our beautiful landscape and enjoy it to full potential. Working closely with our neighbors, the goal is to create a formal way of obtaining permission to hunt private properties and help with deer management.
*Urban Pursuit offers a service COMPLETELY FREE OF CHARGE. I will never ask for any type of payment, fee or compensation. I am looking to gain positive and friendly relationships around sharing a common goal for years to come.

Urban Pursuit can assist with the following
- control deer populations
- reduce / prevent the spread of tick-borne diseases (Lyme Disease as example) that deer ticks transmit to humans
- reduce / prevent damage to property, trees, plants, crops etc. due to excess amounts of deer on the property
- reduce / prevent motor vehicle accidents involving deer in the area
- venison provided after harvest in packaging upon request FOR FREE. Enjoy fresh, healthy and delicious venison from your property!
